Things to see

Dorset has some of the finest countryside you will find. It has spectacular views and also contains the world heritage coastline which cannot be rivalled in the UK.

Within easy walking distance from Country Cottage Bed and Breakfast is the old water mill at Fiddleford. It has a restored manor house which dates back to the twelfth century and is famous for its solar roof. The manor is open to the public for most of the year.

If you are keen on walking, Dorset has some of the finest walks and footpaths in the country. There are many Iron Age hill forts and prehistoric sites of interest. One of the finest is Hambledon hill - the views are spectacular over the vale of Blackmoor and there is a choice of excellent pubs recommended by CAMRA within easy walking distance.
